 WHAT DO I NEED TO BOOK A VEHICLE?

To rent a vehicle with us, have your valid driver's license and visit our booking engine .

DO I NEED MY OWN INSURANCE?

No, you don’t need personal insurance coverage to rent a car on PRM. All vehicles on PRM are insured.

CAN OTHER PEOPLE DRIVE A VEHICLE THAT I RENTED?

Yes, multiple guests can drive the vehicle you rent on PRM, as long as they have a valid driver's license and are all approved to drive. The primary driver (whoever rented the car) can add additional drivers with no fees or additional charges. Only the primary driver can request to add drivers; PRM hosts cannot do it for you. You can request additional drivers during booking or upon pick-up. All drivers must have a valid driver's license.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DOES PRM ACCEPT?

PRM, through JADESA, accepts most credit and debit cards, and PayPal.

WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY ON PRM?

You can cancel and get a full refund up to 24 hours before pick-up date, unless you opt to receive a non-refundable discount when you book. If you book less than 24 hours notice, you have one hour after booking to cancel free of charge. If you cancel after the free cancellation period ends, you will be charged a cancellation fee.

In the rare event a host cancels your booking, you’ll be notified immediately so you can book another vehicle, or we’ll help you find one. Your refund can be temporarily held to expedite rebooking, or the funds can be returned to your bank account — your choice.

WHAT ARE THE CLEANING AND SAFETY POLICIES ON PRM?

Under the enhanced and strict cleaning policy, hosts are required to clean and disinfect their vehicles thoroughly before every booking, so you can feel safe and comfortable behind the wheel. 

CAN I GET MY VEHICLE DELIVERED TO ME?

Yes, many hosts offer delivery to the Pohnpei International Airport and hotels, or to requested delivery locations. You can have your vehicle delivered for pickup and return at your hotel or vacation rental to save time and hassle. Some hosts offer free delivery, while others set their own delivery fee.

HOW CAN I DRIVE UNLIMITED MILES?

All hosts offer unlimited mileage with every booking.

IS PRM A CAR RENTAL COMPANY?

No. Unlike rental car/vehicle companies, PRM is a peer-to-peer car/vehicle rental marketplace where you can rent directly from trusted local car/vehicle owners in Pohnpei, Federated States of Micronesia. PRM hosts share their own cars/vehicles and set their own prices, discounts, vehicle availability, and delivery options.
